- Installable without tools
The bottom bracket cover is placed on the slots on the back of the bottom bracket. It serves to protect the slots and the plugs of the remote, speed sensor and lighting system. The BB plug cover can be installed without tools when the bottom bracket is installed and is therefore ideal for retrofitting bike models that do not yet have their own cover installed.
Important: The cover is not absolutely necessary to ensure the functionality of the system.
